Mughal Miniatures
My miniature paintings explore the world of Mughal art, where careful detail, symbolic color, ornament, and storytelling meet. Each piece honors historic visual language while bringing a contemporary softness and personal voice to the form.
A Dialogue of Detail, Light, and Legacy
Miniature painting asks the viewer to slow down. A flower petal, a fold of fabric, a border, or a wash of gold can become a complete world. I draw from palace scenes, poetic gardens, manuscript traditions, textiles, and architectural ornament, then reinterpret them through my own contemporary eye.
Continuity
The work keeps a historic form active and visible.
Detail
Small gestures reward close, patient looking.
Wonder
Color, gold, and pattern create moments of quiet delight.
